We caught up with Helen Bull from Coastal Cruises in Poole, to find out more about their company and exhibiting at the British Tourism & Travel Show.
Tell us a bit about your organisation:
Coastal Cruises Poole Ltd was founded in October 2024 when our Director, Carol Scott, bought the company from City Cruises Poole. Same boats, trips and crew, just a new owner! Our boats cruise around Poole Harbour and from the Spring also sail to the beautiful Victorian seaside town of Swanage. Amazing trips that show off this stunning part of the Dorset coastline from a different angle including showing off the start of the UNESCO World Heritage Sight of the Jurassic Coast. You may even get to see our local dolphins!
As well as a boat trip, we also offer our popular Seatrain Adventure that includes a train ride on the iconic Swanage Railway with it’s Heritage Steam and Diesel trains. Our boats can accommodate upto 150 passengers and all have a licensed bar and toilets onboard. Each trip is enhanced with a live Captain’s commentary which is both educational and often very humorous! During the summer holidays, we also offer an evening Harbour Lights Cruise and a Fish and Chip Cruise so that passengers can see the sunset over the water. Definitely a must do when in Dorset!
