We caught up with Becky Dyche from Yorkshire Wildlife Park Resort, to find out more about their company and exhibiting at the British Tourism & Travel Show.
Tell us a bit about your organisation:
Built on a former riding school and small farm attraction, Yorkshire Wildlife Park has come a long way since opening in April 2009. Now a dynamic centre for conservation and welfare, the park has some of the world’s most endangered animals that call it home, including lions, giraffes, and the largest collection of Polar Bears in the UK! Encounter some of the parks cheekiest residents up close as you journey through immersive walkthrough reserves and learn more about the park’s residents at one of the informative ranger talks.
Relax and recuperate at the modern and inviting Hex Wildlife Hotel, located just a few steps from the wildlife park, and boasting breath-taking views overlooking the park and the surrounding Yorkshire Hive – an exciting retail destination filled with independent stores, restaurants, and entertainment options. Plus, with a variety of events and shows hosted seasonally, including the popular Wild Live summer outdoor concerts and the enchanting Winter Illuminations light and lantern festival, there’s something for everyone to enjoy all year round at Yorkshire Wildlife Park Resort!
Tell us what your visitors can see on your stand:
There’s been lots happening over the past 12 months at Yorkshire Wildlife Park Resort. We’ve been delighted to welcome lots of new arrivals – including the birth of 2 critically endangered cheetahs and the amazing ‘Lion Rescue 2 – Donetsk to Doncaster’ of mum Aysa and her 3 18-month-old cubs from war-torn Ukraine. We’ve also seen the addition of 30 new bedrooms at Hex Wildlife Hotel and the opening of our brand-new Hex Connect conference and events centre!
Why is exhibiting at the British Tourism & Travel Show an unmissable opportunity for you?
