British Tourism & Travel Show is back with returning favourites and new exhibitors to inspire UK and Ireland itineraries in 2023 and beyond.
Inspirational exhibitors, fresh insights and exciting show features await travel trade professionals across the UK and Ireland as the British Tourism & Travel Show returns to the NEC Birmingham on 22-23 March 2023.
Over 250 leading hotels, popular destinations, visitor attractions, venues, top-rated tours and DMOs are back, with 50 new exhibitors confirmed to showcase the best of Britain and Ireland.
Event Manager Lloyd Jones says:
“The British Tourism & Travel Show has proved itself year after year as a key event for providing the domestic tourism industry with ideas for their upcoming itineraries. Visitors can once again immerse themselves into this two-day showcase, gaining inspiration from 100s of big names in the industry. Among them will be 50 (and rising) new exhibitors, so there’s even more great content and new ideas to enjoy this year.”
New exhibitors to discover
The free-to-attend showcase provides tour operators, travel organisers, GTOs, coach operators, tour wholesalers and agencies with all the group travel inspiration they need to plan itineraries in 2023 and beyond.
Big returning names include Chatsworth, Devon’s Top Attractions, Eurotunnel, The Royal Mint Experience, and The World of James Herriot. These will be joined by 50 new exhibitors this year, including Bodmin Jail, Crieff Hydro Hotels, Destination Bristol, Drayton Manor Park, Holkham, InterChoice Holidays, National Horseracing Museum, Outdoor Active, and The Royal Airforce Museum. Chorley Borough Council is also making its show debut. Charlotte Jukes, Events and Tourism Officer at Chorley Borough Council, says:
“We are very excited to be exhibiting at the British Tourism & Travel Show 2023 for the first time. Over the past year we have invested in refreshing our ‘Check Out Chorley’ tourism brand, looking for new ways to boost awareness of the wonderful things to do and see across the Chorley borough. We look forward to showcasing our attractions, events and group travel itineraries to visitors.”
An unmissable opportunity
Along with gaining plenty of ideas for unique tours and excursions, visitors will get the chance to taste local delicacies, network with like-minded industry professionals and learn from an unmissable speaker line-up in the Keynote Theatre.
Travel trade experts and other industry leaders will bring fresh insights to each session, covering everything from trends, tips, technology, research, and opportunities facing the travel trade today.
Speakers already confirmed include Kate Mavor, CEO of English Heritage, and Andy Headington from digital tourism marketing agency Adido, with a presentation on emerging market trends from Euromonitor. More big names will be announced shortly.
