The popular pilgrimage route to the Shrine of St Augustine which has featured on Radio 4 and in the National and Specialist Press is now open to the travel trade with bespoke group tours by coach or on foot.
US visitors particularly appreciate the history and culture of this special corner of England.
Highlights include the Cathedrals of Rochester and Canterbury, medieval Aylesford Priory and Minster Abbey and the Shrine of St Augustine in Ramsgate.
However, it is the productive Kent countryside, the freedom to roam and the warm welcome in the country pubs that is most surprising for our foreign visitors.
