A festive lantern festival next year in Newquay
The Newquay Festive Festival 2018 begins with a lantern parade, where the streets are lit up with lanterns handmade by local school children and organisations. The parade begins through the town centre, and ends with the live light switch on. Carols are sung throughout the evening by local musicians and the Christmas tree is blessed to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! To finish off the festivities, the sky is lit up with a spectacular fireworks display at Newquay Harbour. The Newquay Festive Festival 2018 will take place on 30 November.
