Liverpool City Region will be well represented at the British Tourism & Travel Show 2021, taking place at Birmingham’s NEC on 22-23 September.
Liverpool is ramping up its travel trade activity, with BTTS being the first major domestic tourism event in 18 months. Showcasing some of Liverpool’s finest visitor attractions, Marketing Liverpool will be joined by many of their partners on the stand including The Romans, The Beatles Story, National Museums Liverpool, Liverpool Football Club, RLB 360, Everton Football Club, Mersey Ferries, The Cavern Club and Strawberry Field. The team will be on hand to answer any questions about the city region and to highlight why it’s the perfect destination for visiting groups of all sizes.
James Wood, Campaign Manager at Marketing Liverpool, said: “We are all excited to be attending BTTS again and showcasing our fantastic city region and attractions. This has always been an excellent show for us and we anticipate it will be an important step on the way to recovery.”

The Romans
The Romans Activity Park is taking Liverpool by storm! It is a purpose-built space for groups such as hen and stags, students, schools and corporate team building.
Rated as one of the best activities for groups on TripAdvisor, it offers 8 hilarious round robin games, togas and great tongue in cheek Ancient Roman fun for any event. The typical activity lasts 90 – 120 minutes per group and they guarantee belly bursting laughs for guests of every physical ability.

The Beatles Story
Celebrating 30 years, The Beatles Story is Liverpool’s leading, award-winning exhibition telling the story of the world’s greatest band.
Located on the stunning waterfront in the birthplace of the Fab Four and takes visitors on an immersive tour through the lives, times, culture and music of The Beatles.
The Beatles Story features an impressive collection of authentic memorabilia including original instruments, John Lennon’s spectacles, Ringo Starr’s drum kit, rare album sleeves, never-before-seen photography and original handwritten lyrics.
With special rates and packages for travel trade partners and groups, visitors can hear the story unfold through multi-media audio guides in twelve different languages, narrated by John Lennon’s sister, Julia.
National Museums Liverpool
With seven museums and galleries, a fascinating collection of over four million objects and an exciting programme of exhibitions and events, National Museums Liverpool is never dull.
Venues include Museum of Liverpool, World Museum, Walker Art Gallery, Lady Lever Art Gallery, International Slavery Museum, Maritime Museum and Sudley House.
Sickert: A Life in Art opens in September 2021 at Walker Art Gallery followed by Sublime Symmetry: De Morgan Ceramics in October 2021 at Lady Lever Art Gallery, which celebrates its centenary year in 2022.
