We catch up with Lauren Clark from Stuart Line Cruises to find out more about their company and exhibiting at the British Tourism & Travel Show.
Tell us a bit about your company:
Family-run since 1968, Stuart Line Cruises is proud to operate award-winning cruises throughout the year, showcasing the Exe Estuary – a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and England’s first natural UNESCO world heritage site, The Jurassic Coast. We offer a wide range of cruises, from 1-hour circular cruises to full-day trips and have many years of experience in welcoming groups. On-board facilities are warm and ensure comfort throughout the year, whatever the weather; our vessels feature fully licensed bars serving a wide range of drinks and snacks, each boat has a covered and heated deck with large panoramic windows and there are modern toilets on board. All cruises feature an informative live commentary from the Skipper.
Tell us about your latest promotions visitors can hope to see on your stand:
During summer, our Jurassic Coast Cruise is very popular with a wide range of groups and is complimented by the optional extra of a Devon Cream Tea. NEW for 2023 is our Joint Ticket with Seaton Tramway – another of Devon’s top attractions. During winter, the offering for weatherproof excursions is more limited but we are proud to offer our very popular Festive Specials – a River Exe Cruise including homemade mulled wine and warm, locally-baked mince pies. Our River Cruises are unaffected by the weather and sail throughout the year, come rain or shine!
Why is exhibiting at the British Tourism & Travel Show an unmissable opportunity for you?
Stuart Line Cruises is a small, family-run business with a big punch. We have won many awards for the excellent service which we provide and have earned a reputation as the leading passenger boat company in the south west and among the leading operators across the country. The group travel industry represents our bread and butter throughout the year and we always have and always remain fiercely loyal to the industry, offering a high quality and consistent service to operators and group organisers. We are long-standing members of the Coach Tourism Association which allows us to ensure we remain engaged in industry demands and trends. In addition, we have been attending BTTS for many years and from experience believe that this show generates worthwhile ROI for us, offering the opportunity for us to be in front of active group organisers.
